I finally realized it was Friday the 13th, so I refuse to leave my house.
Looks like I'll be canceling my dates and staying in my room where it's safe. Maybe I'll sage the space... I already fell out of bed this morning, ran into my own door, and cut myself with a spoon. A spoon. I still cannot fathom how a spoon manages to get sharp, but the wound on my hand serves as proof.
I am now taking advice on how to make it through the day. If anyone has any rituals that you'd suggest, I'm open to hear them! No salt over the shoulders for me... I spent the last of it cooking. :'(
How unlucky...
Or maybe even suggestions on how to cure my boredom and the already impending cabin fever I'm getting? Please and many thanks!!! :'(((

Is there a reason you find the number 13 unlucky? I don't understand how a number or a number that falls on a specific day affects luck. To me, it's just a normal day. A day doesn't have a brain. It can't just begin and decide it wants to be bad or good or be lucky. I suppose you also believe in the butterfly effect and would blame a monarch butterfly in Austria for you cutting your hand on the spoon. Which is really strange. How does someone cut themselves on a spoon? Are you sure it wasn't actually a knife? Perhaps you purchased utensils that are multi-use. For example, I came across a sporknife. It's a spoon, fork, and knife all in one. The main part of the utensil looks like a spoon, but the top has the fork shape with rounded sides that are able to cut through things like a knife. It's quite economical if you were going on a camping trip or another outdoor adventure. You could also use it in your everyday life. There wouldn't be as many dishes to wash. Though, I eat a lot of my food with chopsticks, so the sporknife isn't really something I need, but would still be useful overall.
